Change to email settings for Adobe Business Catalyst clients

Many of you are still using the old, insecure email server settings with your email software (eg Outlook, Apple mail, iPhone mail etc).

This system is being deprecated as of 31 March (this Thursday) and you’ll need to update your settings with the secure ones before then to stop possible interruptions to your email service.

Don’t worry about losing emails, emails sent to your address will still be there, you simply can’t log in using the old settings. In the interim, you can always access your email via webmail (see below instructions).

Please note, if you don’t update your settings before then, you won’t be able to access email in your email software (eg Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone mail).

The settings you need to update to are (on all devices that access email):

Inbound (receive emails)

  • Inbound Server:mail.worldsecureemail.com
  • Inbound Server Type: IMAPS (993) / POP (995)
  • User Name: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • Connection Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal Password
  • Outbound (send emails)

Change email account password

Adobe also strongly advise you to change your email password, by logging into webmail (using https://mail.worldsecureemail.com) and browsing to Settings -> Password. There you will be able to set a new password for accessing your mailbox.

For account managers please ensure that everyone with an email address has updated their settings on all devices.
